Hi there.
I just got a new HD and what to do with all that space? Trying out new os'es of course! I've got a P4 3,2 GHz pc running Win XP Prof. SP2. Now I would like to play with some new stuff to figure out what os will be replacing my XP when it "retires".
This is my plan:
1) Creating 2 partitions on the new HD and formatting with NTFS 2) Installing Vista B2 from my existing XP on one of the new partitions and getting the dual boot to work. 3) In a week: installing Ubuntu Linux 6,06 letting it's boot loader multi boot all 3 os'es.
Please let me know if you think i'm totally crazy or you think it will work. NB: The installation is done on my main pc so of course i'll do a lot of back ups before the show. But if the process is too risky i won't go ahead with it.
Hope to hear some interesting views on my plan!

Triple boot Vista, XP and Ubuntu Linux!

Regarding Linux - suggest considering checking out "Knoppix" - CD (compressed to hold 2+ gigs) provides for running Linux from the CD - no HD install and provides all bells and whistles.
